Cdre (R) Muhammad Anjum Sarfraz

Commodore (R) Muhammad Anjum Sarfraz was commissioned in Pakistan Navy in December 1972. He has served on various command and staff appointments. These include Deputy Director and Chief Instructor PN War College Lahore, Deputy Commandant and Training Commander Pakistan Naval Academy, Commanding Officer of a Destroyer and Sub chaser, Director Naval Operations and Director Naval Intelligence (Ops) and Commodore Training Ashore (CTA) to Commander Karachi. Last Appointment in Navy was Pakistan Civilian Authority (PNCA). After retirement, has served in the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) as Manager (HR), Manager (Training and Education) and lastly as GM Administration. Prior to his current placement as the Director Bahria University Islamabad Campus since July, 12, 2011, he remained as the Director National Center for Maritime Policy Research (NCMPR) Karachi, a constituent unit of Bahria University. Cdre (R) Sarfraz is a graduated of PN War College and National Defence University as well. Besides he also holds Master’s degree in Business Administration, War and Pakistan Studies. He is also Master Mariner. Presently, he is pursuing Ph.D. He is married, and has two children, a son and a daughter. He remains an avid Golfer, with additional interests in hunting and fishing.
