Humanities and Social Sciences Program was launched in Fall 2007 in Bahria University. It is a multi-disciplinary program currently offering 4-undergraduate majors: Anthropology/Sociology; Development Studies; International Relations and Media Studies. All major tracks seek to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge from a fascinating array of Humanities and Social Sciences courses. The social sciences degree program at Bahria University is one of the finest undergraduate programs in the country designed to meet the future challenges of an increasingly multi-cultural and global work environment. The BSS program offers the students a unique opportunity to discover the social world around them through a combination of coursework and practical field research experience backed by a state-of-the-art library and English Language Lab.
The department has also launched M.Phil program in Social-Cultural Anthropology in Fall 2011.
